Gone are the days of school discount checkbooks and tear out coupons. The Buncombe County Schools Foundation fundraiser kicks off on Thursday, February 14, 2013, with the Buncombe County Schools Saver Card. The card is assembled in cooperation with local merchants with Palmetto Fundraising. The School Saver card, which sells for $15.00, contains over $900 in coupon savings. Best of all, $8.00 of the $15.00 stays in our local schools. The buyers receive a tremendous value for their money; the schools have a no-risk, easy way to raise much needed money to use at their discretion; and the merchants experience increased traffic in their establishments, free advertising, and the satisfaction of knowing that they are supporting their local schools. Please help by purchasing a 2013 School Saver Card. Purchases can be made at Buncombe County Schools, the Buncombe County Schools Foundation office (175 Bingham Road, Asheville, NC 28806), or by downloading and mailing in an order form.
