BCSF Classroom Mini-Grants
 
The purpose of the Buncombe County Schools Foundation, established in 1984, is to assist the Buncombe County School System with needs that cannot be met through regular funding methods. Therefore, the Foundation makes continual efforts to provide monies and in-kind donations for innovative and creative programs, student and employee scholarships, and additional teacher requests that might otherwise be neglected.
 
The 2011-2012 version of  the Buncombe County Schools Foundation’s Mini-Grant for Classroom Projects Program is a combination of four grant sources – The Community Foundation of WNC, Buncombe County Schools Foundation, Land-of-sky Regional Council, HomeTrust Bank and US Environmental Protection Agency.  Grant applications for the 2012-2013 school year will be available online in August.
